I had my exchange surgery 4 days ago. My PS suggested I go with 600cc implants. I felt they would be too large and had him put in 550cc. I am already feeling I made a big mistake. I have rippling and they'd look to small. Has anyone had these feelings in the early stage of exchange and then felt better

Hi Brunstad -- don't worry! Everything will look better in a few weeks! For sure!

You didn't mention it, but I assume the implants were placed underneath your pec muscles... do you know? I can give you more info once I know this.

Ok then FOR SURE they will be better in a few weeks. I got 700cc implants and I woke up from surgery FLAT CHESTED. I mean, completely flat chested. Your pec muscles have to relax. We call it "dropping and fluffing". The skin you see is on top of your muscles. The implants are underneath your muscles. So your muscles will relax, allowing the implants to come through and fill out the skin. It is so hard right after the surgery, for everyone. So practice this: "Please step away from the mirror." Don't look at them (unless you have to check your incisions and keep them clean obviously). But don't check your profile or worry about it now. It will get better in a few weeks -- I promise!

Thank you so much for your words of wisdom. I need to work on patience during the recovery. I go back to my PS next Friday for first checkup after exchange and look forward to it
