Dear Patty, You were the first person I saw when I joined and I've always looked forward to seeing your lovely, welcoming smile when I open up the games. You have been so generous in sharing your thougnts and hopes with us in a way that has made me feel very close to you. So I hope you can feel my ((hugs)) even though I have been shy and not shared as much. You will always be a model of graciousness and strength to me as I'm sure you are to your sons and family. I'm wishing you the upmost physical comfort now, and you know that you will always be wrapped in a blanket of love and warmth from your friends here. May God be with you forever.
Love, Sara

Patty, I have not posted here before but I have been following your group for six months. In all of your suffering you have glorified God. You have given each of us a gift of your sweet spirit. I know that when you are face to face with our Creator, He will say; “Well done good and faithful servant!”
Praying for you and your sons🙏
Your Sister-in-Christ,
Barbara

hey. The emotional pain part is not being controlled and the emotional side is a wreck. Trying to live in the mom
-
Patty~I understand completely, but it just shows you how much you're loved. One day or minute at a time. Honey. My two words. Miracle hope. Love you very much ~M~
-
Oh, Patty, you must be exhausted. It sounds like you're on an emotional roller coaster. I hope you can get some good sleep in. It will give you the stamina to deal with tomorrow. Your sister must be there by now. I'm hoping she will be able to stay the night with you. Love and peace, Sara.

not sure I talked about changes in care. Because of the amount of meds I am taking and my memory hospice is only alllowing me enough meds for 2 days in a row. So after my sis leaves my choices are back in hospice or uncontrolled pain. What a predicament having a very hard time standing and settling. Almost couldn’t get out of tub. Can’t remember anything. Can’t balancecheck book. Or remember much anything
Just wanna be done. Check out but my body is lagging behind
Dss are here but so exhausted just trying to fake it best I can.
Gonna do some loooking around Monday. There has to be more option then hospice house or hospital
Much love
-
Patty, sending love for peace and comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
-
Night. Will work on it starting Monday
-
Patty! I don’t understand...hospice is not controlling your pain? I’m so upset reading this!
I know you have to be exhausted. Ds’s are going to put on a strong, brave face. That’s just what you do when someone you love is hurting. You have been the best gift to those two and they love and cherish you!
Hopefully your sisters can be your voice, your advocate! You need to be comfortable.
I imagine there are many stages of thoughts, from panic, to peace, anxiety, frustration, total exhaustion...deep breaths sweet girl. We are all in your pocket. I hope you can feel the love and prayers wrapping you in a big hug. But most importantly, I hope you feel God’s presence. He is with you and will never leave you. He is your protector and your great physician. He can do anything. And He loves you more than any of us can comprehend.
I love you sweet patty. Prayers for you and the boys! ❤️❤️❤️

Holding you tightly in my heart.

-
Peppermint! You want me to come out there and give them a "what for?" Wth??? Tell them WE all want and need for you to have your pain controlled... If they can't do that, bring a chocolate coke...…..and I mean it! xoxo
-
Dearest Patty - Love and light be with you today and in the days to come. I hold you in my heart and carry a prayer for peace and freedom from pain. May your journey be gentle.
-
-
Patty, I am sad you have emotional pain. Please ask for meds, I call them "happy meds" that help with fears, anxieties and overwhelming sadness and grief. It shouldn't knock you out but give you a sense of calm.
The Hospice RN should know the name of these meds to help you.
Love and peace to you my online friend.
-
Hoping you are able to enjoy some time with your sisters and boys. If you want to stay home, ask your sisters to help get what you need. It’s all about what you want right now Sending you a gentle hug.
-
I am praying for peace and comfort for you.
Jesus spoke, “Don't be afraid. Take courage. I am here!"
-
oh Patty honey, you’re on my mind and in my heart. I am hoping the way to relieve your stress and give you more comfort finds you soon... you’re so loved. Two words: so loved. ~M~

There should be someone on your Hospice team who is your advocate; let your sisters help you sort this all out. You should not be carrying the burden of asking all the questions and making all these decisions alone, especially when you feel so poorly. Hugs and more hugs.....
