Acute nipple retraction

Hello, I am 36 and I am hoping to find a little support. I am a single mother and 3 weeks ago my left nipple became inverted. It was tender as well, but I assumed the tenderness was due to menstrual cycle. Now, it is still inverted, but the bottom of the nipple is a little swollen, kinda like a crecent moon shape. When I first noticed it was inverted, I panicked and tried to pull it out again, lol, it didn't work, but it produced a greenish fluid. Last week I noticed a thick white sticky discharge. I'm concerned because good ol Dr Google comes up with bc every time I research it. I haven't made an appt yet because I don't have insurance & I am hoping it's a minor infection of some sort that will go away. I have no lumps, skin changes or any other symptoms besides an occasional dizzy spell. I am very worried and anxious. Any tips on maintaining/coping until I can get in to a Dr? And what kind of things I should expect for the first appt?
