ONE YEAR and black “bruise” still on breast

I just wanted to post an update hoping someone has advice or a similar experience to share. I noted a dime to quarter size purple/black spot on my left breast last year. After waiting a few months for it to resolve I went to GYN in October. Mammo and ultrasound were unremarkable. I went to one dermatologist who gave me antibiotics and nothing happened. I didn't follow up BC I felt like they didn't know what they were looking at. I have an appt with a new dermatologist next week, and my anxiety is creeping up again. Just wondering if anyone is out there who may have some thoughts to share. There's no lump and I don't feel it has grown.

    it’s very unusual for a bruise to last that long. You didn’t say exactly where it is located. Is it possible that your bra or anything you may wear across your front/side could be causing the bruise (ie underwire hitting the area, side stay in your bra bending and digging in - i just had this the other day, wearing a cross body purse, seatbelt, repetitive motion along that area with your arm, etc)?

    it’s on the upper inner (cleavage side) of my left breast and I actually stopped wearing bras for a while BC I thought that might be it ... I was wondering if this could be a hemosiderin stain or just chronic folloculitis either way I’m going to push for a biopsy
