Worried inflammatory breast cancer

hello everyone

I started having hot pin like pains in my right Breast for past month, I passed it offs hormone related. Last Night whilst undressing I noticed a large red rash type covering a big proportion of my right breast, I went to sleep thinking i may have had reactions to my bra?. This morning (bra free night) the rash is still there and my breast is very hot and possibly a little swollen. Stupidly I asked Dr Google and now I am petrified I could have IBC. I am 37 with 4 children, I will attend docs on Monday, but until then I’m going to be a bag of nerves. Thanks for your time

    Hi Trixy09,

    So sorry you're going through this worry. Google is really bad for making you feel awful when you do a search. There are various other possibilities that it could be. IBC is pretty rare. I know it's easy for me to say not to worry, because you will, and it doesn't help that it's the weekend. Horrible time for you but Monday will come and you'll do whatever needs doing.

    Hi Trixy09,

    I am in the same boat worrying about a spot on my breast. I too am having off and on pain and a little extra soreness on my right breast. I have had flat pinkish/purplish spot on my breast for almost 5 months. The surgeon thought it was hormones from nursing, I have quit nursing and it's still there. He now thinks it's vascular but he did a skin biopsy, I should find out results next week....3 weeks later....Just wanted to say you're not alone. Google has terrified me as well. Hang in there.

    thanks for your reply, sometimes it’s just good to have a rant and get it all out. Yes Monday can’t come soon enough, fingers crossed all will be fine

    hi Trixy!

    How was your appointment? I have my skin biopsy result appointment today I am super nervous. My pains have not been consistent or even very bad. They actually seemed to have improved. The spot is still there though. I am so confused as to what is going on. Wish me luck!
