THIS or THAT Game

I prefer to change things up a bit so long as it's not too much.
Do you have a lot of routines or not?
-
Yes, I do. Especially for my work. I do the same things month after month. And year after year. Lol
Do you get bored with doing the same things over and over or not? (I don't mind it. I get told I am "amazing" at keeping things organized and running smooth from year to year!!)
-
I see myself as having a restless part of me but I don't often get bored. There are a lot of things I do repeatedly that I like doing but I don't like having to pay bills and do my tax etc.
Do you get restless at times or not?
-
Yes, I do. There are times I hate being stuck inside all day working on a beautiful sunny day. Not today because it has been raining all day!!
Do you find it easier to stay in if you have things to do when the weather is bad or if the weather is beautiful and sunny?
-
I'm not sure if it makes too much difference what the weather is but I don't like staying home for too many days in a row.
On days when it's rainy, do you get rained on a lot or you don't have to go outside much?
-
It depends on if it's a work day or not. If it's a work day, like today, I get rained on going to the car, at lunch and on the way home. But hopefully not all of those!! If it's the weekend and it's raining I tend to stay in when I can.
Do you sit in your car and wait for the rain to stop or do you get out and run thru it when you are out in the rain?
-
If the rain is really heavy, I might wait in my car for it to lighten up but otherwise I will run through it to get where I want to go.
If you are in a hurry, do you run or jog to get where you're going faster or not?
-
I will run if it's raining really hard but if it's only sprinkling I won't.
Do you use an umbrella or do you just walk in the rain without one?
-
I hardly ever use an umbrella although I would if it's raining hard enough. I got out of the habit when we had years of it hardly raining here.
Do you ever have droughts where you live or not?
-
We have had dry summers, though this is definitely not one of them. Other parts of the country have had droughts but we haven't really had a drought for years.
Do you have really hot summers and really cold winters or are your temperatures pretty consistent year round?
-
We rarely go below freezing point at night in winter (0C) and the hottest we've got up to in summer during the day is 45C, which is very hot! It's much colder here in winter than summer though and I always look forward to spring since I feel the cold so much.
Do you feel more achy when it's cold or not? I do!
-
Yes, I feel more achy when it's cold.
Would you rather be too hot or too cold?
-
I'd rather be too hot than too cold!
Is your power more likely to go out when it's too hot or too cold? Here our power is more likely to go out when everyone is turning on their air conditioners at once!
-
Funny you should ask. Our power has gone out here at work 3 times today!! Lol But we have a generator and battery backups on our computers that has kept us up and running. Thunder storms are the most likely thing to take out power here. And ice storms. We were without power for 5 days about 10 years ago because of an ice storm.
Do you get many thunder storms where you live or not? We do in the spring.
-
We do sometimes get thunder storms but not too often. I know that Queensland two states to the north of us gets a lot of them.
Do you like to look up the forecast for the next day or not?
-
Yes, I always look up the forecast or watch it on the news before I get dressed.
Do you look up the forecast on the internet or do you watch it on the news?
-
I look up the forecast on the internet because I don't watch the news.
Do you try to avoid the bad news and violence of the news or not?
-
No, I usually watch the local news. I like to know what's going on around me.
Do you read the local news in a newspaper or online?
-
I look through local papers but I don't really watch or read the local news properly.
Do you feel sleepy or not? I do and I need to go to bed soon.
-
Yes, I'm sure you do!! I don't really feel sleepy right now. You should go to bed!! I will be going home from work in about 20 minutes.
Do you look forward to getting a good night's sleep or do you toss and turn all night?
-
I look forward to going to bed when I'm really sleepy but when I go to bed because I think I should, often I don't sleep well.
Do you have many dreams or not?
-
Not many. I used to when I was a child. But I don't now.
Do you have dreams or nightmares more often?
-
I have dreams more often than nightmares.
Do you dream in colour or not? I do but apparently not everyone does.
-
I do. At least I think I do. I never really thought about it. Lol
Do you dream about people you know or strangers you've never met?
-
I often dream about a combination of people I've met and people I don't know but there's sometimes a surreal quality with thing very different than my usual life.
Do you look forward to going to bed or try to put it off as long as possible?
-
I hated going to bed my whole life and now I love it!
Do you sleep with a pet in your bed?
-
No, we don't have any pets.
Do you have pets or not?
-
I have 4!! 2 cats, 2 dogs. My daughters each had a cat when they were home. They were supposed to go with them when they moved out, but we still have 2 cats!! Lol The dogs we have because my daughter's friend had them and they were moving into an apartment and didn't want to pay the pet fees. So they were going to have them put down. My daughter couldn't bear the thought of that. So we have 2 dogs!! Lol
Do you prefer cats or dogs?
-
I think cats are cuter than dogs but I'm allergic to cats, so that makes things tricky.
Are you glad you have so many pets or not?
-
Yes, I love my little gals & guy!! Most of the time!! Lol
Do you like going to county fairs or not? (Our's is about to start.)
