After tamox and radiotherapy

Hi all!

Anyone feel also too warm after being treated with tamox and radiotherapy?

I used to like summer, but this is the first I waited for the winter and now I really enjoy it!

Any similar experience ?

    Hi Dani!

    I'm hot all the time. Hot flashes come on and I have a heavy chest feeling.. I keep our a/c on at 65. Its awful. Not sure if its from the tamox, or past treatment or menapause or all of the above. I just know its miserable.

    What is the heavy chest feeling like? Like anxiety or pánico attack?

    Sorry to get back so late.. didn't realize there was a response! It just feels like an encyclopedia is sitting on my chest. I finally called my onco and he sent me for cat scan, blood work.. cat scan came back neg for blood clot, so I was sent for a stress test. The regular stress test was borderline, so now I will be going for a nuclear stress test. fun times!

    I keep drinking water and try to keep it cold. I have a little fan on my desk that I turn on when the hot flashes start. that helps, and also just being aware that these flu like symptoms fade after a few minutes with the hot flash. I'm also on effexor which helps but doesn't take it away..
