Arimidex Brain FOG

Does anyone else have brain fog ? I truly know that my brain fog is from Arimidex because I went off of the drug for 75 days and I felt so much better and less foggy. Went back on it after 4 spots showed up on CT scan. One month back on it and I am back to be super forgetful, lack the ability to concentrate, terrible confusion, and very frustrating comprehension problems.

Please let me know if you have suffered any of these. I have an Arimidex brain fog....good it and please like it.

    No but I had fatigue and joint pain and ear ringing.

    My experience with brain fog was from Letrozole. It felt like a wet rag had been put over my brain. That lasted about 2 weeks. Now I tend to forget names of people. Very frustrating. My biggest problem is awful pain

    THere is clinical evidence that the antihormone treatment causes cognitive decline. It is a very effective drug to keep cancer from reooccurring. I chose to do no antihormone therapy, but that is my choice for now. If my cancer reoccurs I would reevaluate that decision, but that might mean, It might reoccur as stage 4 and that would mean lifetime treatment. That is what makes this such a scary decision. I need my brain and can't afford lose my cognition even slightly. Good luck in what you decide. There was a study done in Rochester NY using a MEK inhibitor as well as tamoxifen and that seemed to protect the Mylin sheath that gets damaged in the brain cells from the antihormone treatment drugs. I asked my MO for that drug, but he refused. I am going to see if he will prescribe nerlynx ( Her2+) for a year to help with the reoccurance.
