But now I received a phonecall from the hospital about xeloda and having better survival rates then? Now I am scarred.... can anyone help me out here...

I think you might want to post this on the Calling all TN thread https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/72/topics...

I had surgery before so I won't ever know if I'd have responded to the chemo only. I'm in BC Canada & I think here we still reserve xeloda for stage iv but I know there was a study about it helping earlier stage TN women prevent a recurrence & I think others in the US who did not have a cpr have been put on a cycle of it.

    Hi Ilonas,

I met my MO yesterday and she told me that for TNBC early stag, if there is residual cancer then Xeloda (Capecitabine) is becoming standard of care. I am in New Zealand. Its an eight week oral chemo drug. I feel its a good thing as being TN our choices are limited.

The study Moth mentions is the CREATE-X study,

Moth, I have come across your posts on other threads as well. You have a huge knowledge base on TNbc, I feel. Thank you for sharing it with us.
