I found out I’m...

ER+ PR+ HER2- in my breast. But

I’m ER+ PR+ HER2+ in my lymph nodes.

I have port put in next Wednesday and start chemo (4 drugs -forgot names) Thursday. She said after chemo I’m on quarantine until I see her the next week to makesure my white blood cell counts are good. I’ll have 6 rounds every 3 weeks. Then I go to 2 drugs until next July. But when I finish the first round I’ll have surgery the radiation. Anyone else out there like me or have you hear anything you can share. Good or bad. Thanks

    Hi!

It sounds like your doctors are treating you as though you have triple positive (ER+/PR+/HER2+) breast cancer, and you're getting Taxotere + Carboplatin + Herceptin + Perjeta, surgery, radiation, and Herceptin + Perjeta until next July.

Come join us on the Triple Positive Board; plenty of us have experience with this regimen (though I personally did AC + THP).

Jimiwithani, I was interested that you were able to find out your receptors for your lymph node. I called the pathologist and asked if they could differentiate [since I had different reports for the different tumors in my breast] and he said "No" they didn't do that.

Can I ask where your from or what hospital you were seen at so I could refer my pathologist there??

    Thank you!
