Sclerosing Adenosis and papilloma??

Symptoms clear, yellow discharge. Mammo and us normal, mri showing something. They did core biopsy and the answer was extensive scherosing adenosis and papilloma!

Next is surgeon. Im in panic, i think i have cancer??

    Sippis, I think if the biopsy result was sclerosing adenosis and papilloma, you should be okay! The papilloma is likely responsible for the nipple discharge (I had one too) and a painful lump could be caused by both/either. Removing the papilloma should relieve the nipple discharge. Perhaps that is why you have been referred to a surgeon. As the words 'adenocarcinoma' weren't mentioned, the adenosis and papilloma are probably benign.

    Agree with lmurphy above.

    Papillomas are always removed and the vast majority are benign. Pathology will examine the surgical specimen and look for suspicious cells in addition to the papilloma and sclerosing adenosis. If there are none you should be good to go as regards these findings. Some people recommend a 6 month followup even after a benign result after surgery so don't let that bother you if that's the case.

    Thank you both.

    I have fear because now ihave two risk lesion.. What else they will find..

    Is this sclerosing adenosis common finding? With papilloma?I havent lump and mammo was clear.
