If I had beast cancer. would doctors have contact me earlier?

I had my biopsy June 28 2018. Almost three week ago and got to go back July 19. This is the question I have. Do you all think if I had breast cancer the doctors would have call me or wrote me letter to come in much earlier than my appointment date on July 19? Is this a sign of good news?

    Are you in Canada? Depending on where you are the results can take a long time. My pathology results routinely took three weeks.

    Sorry that you are going through this, Elisa! Waiting is difficult.I hope the results are good.

    my doctor called me the same day that she got the results.

    The biopsy process I went through did not include an appointment to discuss the biopsy so i cant promise that no call is good news.

    All the best for your appointment tomorrow.

    And if it is cancer do not let anyone make you wait three plus weeks for test results again. 😤

    Elisa, I am doing well right now! Thank you so much for asking. I have to be honest though and say that my life and especially my perspective will never be the same. It has gotten easier with time to manage the mental load of cancer.

    Hang in there, Elisa! You've made it this far -- only one more day until you get your results. You can do it!

    I can tell from your activity on the forum that you've been very anxious -- and it's no wonder! You've been waiting a long time, and this is scary stuff. Whatever the result is, I'm sure it will be a relief to just KNOW and to be able to move forward, either with an all clear or with an action plan.

    Waiting really is the worst. Please let us know what happens tomorrow! We are all thinking of you!

    While I cannot say if a three week wait is a good or bad sign, waiting for biopsy results is the worst!!! - I'm doing that now.
