I had no idea what to call the "incisions" part of my question, so if there is better terminology, please let me know.

Even though I am having a full BMX, my plastic surgeon said that he will be cutting as if doing a breast reduction. He will cut the anchor/upside down T instead of lateral because he says that gives the best profile after exchange.

Has anyone else heard of this or had it done this way? Do you think you got better results than the "hamburger buns" that I read so many people being disappointed with?

Upside down anchor is the way to go and the scars underneath are hidden and the vertical scar fades really nicely. Not so much with lateral incisions. The hamburger buns have to do with skin quality, shape of implant, size of implant compared to skin, fat grafting and pre-prec vs under pec placement. If you’re looking for natural looking breasts you may want to look into natural tissue recon (DIEP flap). Here’s a link if interested: www.breastcenter.com

I would love flap, but none of my doctors will consider it because of other medical issues.
