Bone mets
I am just really aggravated tonight. I just got a crappy report from my latest scans. New mets in my liver and worsening mets in my bones. Rick and I were laughing and I broke another rib. T 10 and 12 have a lot of activity and I am afraid to do anything. Rick wants to talk about ANYTHING else and I hurt so bad I have zero patience. Hope someone is awake out there. To tell me I am not crazy. I won’t ruin my marriage being bitchy. That maybe the faslodex will work and not hurt as bad as I think it will when I get my first shots tomorrow

the Falsodex shots never hurt me It’s just just one day at s time. Both you and hubby are walking a new path. GIve both of you the time and honesty needed. Sonetimes spouses just can’t get it that’s what we are here for. Someone here has already been there and done that so can relate. I encourage you to post and lurk often here. It is a huge support for me.
Sleep well -
Thanks, Patty. Ricks a good guy.
I’m glad other people lurk, too. I’m on a lot at night when I can’t sleep

Hi! My last petscan showed bone mets in T-11 and t-12 and in the last lumbar vertebrae. I also have it in both thigh bones and the head of both collarbones. I don't know what I should be looking out for or what symptoms to be aware of as far as bone mets goes. I also have multiple mets in my liver and both lungs. All together I have over 25 tumors throughout my body.

goose, you sound like me, I have mets in every bone from my skull to the tops of my thighs. The only pain I have though is in my lower spine, my ribs hurt if I accidentally bump them or something. My shoulders used to hurt but after radiation and chemo they don't anymroe, I can't raise my right arm all the way though.
My sister in law has mets in her lungs, never felt a thing, only knew it because they found it on a PET scan.

Ha! It was nothing. I was scared over nothing. I went for X-rays on my ribs. Is bone breakage common as t diseased bones get worse

Hi all,
I am new to this site but have had bone mets for almost 2 years now. I am on Ibrance, Faslodex and Xgeva. Sometimes I get very emotional and cry for no reason, but then it passes.
I wish all of you good luck and it’s nice to read about other’s experiences. it’s very hard at times to keep going because there is no cure. But Ijust take 1 day at a time and try not to think how many years I have left.

glad it went well. Bone breakage happened a lot to my bones but everyone is different. I have had several kyphosis where they build the broken bones up with concrete to help pain and strength but that causes awhile mother issue because those bones never bend which causes bones up and down from there to break. Win lose Situation
