hi ive had 2 local wide excersions and lymph glands removed i now have been told i need a 3rd op something to do with pre cancer cells and ive also been told if this operation dont work i will need to get a masectomy now considering my breast lump was small i still have no idea if they got full clearance and what is dcls or something simular i am really struggling what is best to do

    I’m so sorry you’re having to do surgery again. Have they done an MRI? A lot of times when they gave to go in a second time and still don’t get everything they are often hitting other areas of cancer/pre-cancer that didn’t show up on mammo/ultrasound. MRI is much more sensitive and should give you a better picture of what’s going on before the do another surgery. If they haven’t done an MRI, I’d request one before they do any more cutting.
