Canavaro, Misha, Nicole, you’ve got it. And I’ll come to your pity parties any day you want me. My son tells me he is so used to me being bald now, he thinks I could make it a permanent thing. Ha, as if! My wonderful husband takes care of the dirty dishes and says that only now he started to appreciate what a difficult job it is to cook and clean 😜. Well, better now then never. Between the two of them I feel like on a crappy cruise: staff is being taken care of, but food is substandard (during my chemo week), and nausea bothers me. The good news is that eventually I will get off this ship.

Good news!! It's stage 2, hormone receptor positive, has not spread anywhere beyond two lymph nodes under the armpit, AND is smaller than they thought 2.9cm instead of 4cm!
I was feeling so down yesterday, assuming the worst, but I am so grateful it’s not as bad as I thought! Not great, but it’s curable. IDC T2 N1 stage IIB, 2.9 cm, ER/PR+, HER-
Now it’s 20 weeks of chemo! Aacckk!! First will be the a/c, then the taxol(sp?).
Feeling blessed to have better results and that doc feels so confident it’s curable. I’m going to take a nap now! 🙏🏻❤️

Misha
Congrats. You can cure this. You’ll come out stronger and better after all this and will live a healthier life. Good luc
-
oh Misha !!! Super news!!!! I bet your nap will be better than any sleep you have had in awhile! I can feel your relief and strength through your post!
-
Great news, Misha! Good luck with chemo! Ac+T

thanks for the encouragement InnaB ! I hope the nausea subsides for you. Sending you “Sea Legs” for this part of your journey!
I am having mild freak attacks.....visit to cancer Center tomorrow for another ultrasound and for a biopsy.
I just want this thing out of me!! It’s big and seems to be getting bigger! My boobs can go, they have not done much for me anyway....could not even breast feed with my kids....didn’t have much milk in these duds for either of my kids...so they can just go!
How I managed not to feel it until a few weeks ago it beyond me, as now it’s like this giant thing that is so obvious now! Grrrr.... I flip from scared to mad!!! But never weak!!!! This just turned into a rant....grrr
-
Misha- great news for you! You've got this. There are other forums here for those starting chemo. Best of luck to you.
Canavaro- it's ok to rant. No one understands better than this group of women. You got this too!

biopsy done....it was way easier than I thought it would be. Now the wait....glad to be moving forward but scared to find out the news.
Hope you all are doing well tonight. I plan on some Netflix marathons tonight... “New Girl “makes me laugh.

I'm back.. I had my "routine" endoscopy and colonoscopy combo again today.. I was six months late... Woke up from anesthesia to find they not only took three polyps from the colon, which is very common so doesn't scare me too much, but that he also found three areas to biopsy in my STOMACH, which scares the hell out of me! There has never been anything to biopsy in my stomach on my previous endoscopies!! And I have a hernia all of a sudden??!!?? Well, I was traumatized when I feared a breast would have to go, now I'm really upset .. please pray it's something simple, like an ulcer they can fix easily with antibiotics. So here I sit again, waiting for more biopsy results of another sort. Hell month continues...
I pray the ladies here who had their Wednesday procedures today things went smoothly for you, and results will be swift. Hugs!

SoMany, it’s all good! I also had three polyps removed from my stomach at my colonoscopy four years ago. I thought the same thing! Take a breath and let it go. The time we spend worryingly about stuff that probably won’t ever be as bad as we think, is time we could have been doing something we enjoy. Prayers for you!
-
Nicole- thinking of you! Did you get your full dx yet??
I am starting chemo on Monday so I joined the Chemo July 2018 board as well.

Hello everyone!
Boy, what a weekend. My best friend flew in Thur. I got my port in Friday. Rearranged my whole upstairs preparing for chemo. The port is odd. Limits range of motion but I’ll get through it. How is EVERYONE? I’m mentally adjusting to my new normal. Off with the grandkids I will check in later tonight.
