Waiting and scared

I just had ultrasound done on Friday on my right breast and right axillary, won’t know the results until my doctor is in on Monday. Radiologist gave me the images from the session. Both masses are over 2cm. The axillary lump was discovered end of February and the breast lump middle of April while I was still nursing. Was reading that it could be PABC, I just gave birth in January. I’m so terrified of what it could be and not seeing my child grow up

    Lilanj,

Friday ultrasounds are the worst. I’m so sorry for your anxiety. I hope it turns out fine. Be sure and check back in and let me know. You will be in my thoughts. Try to find anything to distract yourself!

Lilanj, one step at a time. There are many changes to breasts that can happen following childbirth. Please let us know what the doctor says, and try to enjoy your family this weekend We understand that the waiting is the worst part.

The report say birads 4, suspicious abnormality. Biopsy recommended. I have my referral from doctor, now I’m scrambling to find a place that can do it ASAP.

Come to Stage 2 Sisters Club thread.

I know. It is hard when there is not explanation for what is happening to you.

Lilanj, sorry you are going through this. Waiting is so so difficult. Hopefully you will get in for a biopsy soon. Try not to let your mind get too far ahead. Easier said than done. You will find great support in this forum. Keep us posted. (Hug)

Lilanj, I am sorry for the news. I also scrambled to get the biopsy done ASAP because I was scheduled to go on a trip during Spring break and I didn’t want to wait until after I came back. Hope you find a place that can fit you in. Be aggressive and get on waitlist if needed. I went to an out of the wa clinic to get mine done. It was fine. Good luck.

Just wanted to provide an update to you ladies. I had my biopsies (fine needle of lymph node and core of right breast) today. The FNA shows positive for cancer. Thank you all for your words, I’ll be moving on to the other forum
