I have a sister and 2 nieces that have within the last year been diagnosed with bc.. For the last 10 yrs I have had call backs on my mammos..an ultrasound 2 yrs ago with a six months callback.. I have 3 areas that have growing calcifications one is new and is larger than the ares they have been watching. I went in for a stereotactic needle biopsy.. they were not able to get me numb enough, I felt everything.. they did get enough of a specimen for 1 biopsy came back Atypical lobular hyperplasia.. The area they were most concerned with was not able to be biopsied due to it being behind the nipple.. I am now supposed to see a surgeon to discuss my options... I'm scared that the are they haven't done anything with is bc.. anyone else ever have similar experience and with not able to get numb enough?
