Dr found lump at 5 o clock position on right breast

my dr found a lump on my breast it's very hard lump and weird shape and nice size one to and my breast is very tender in that area. I have also noticed that nipple on that breast has white spots on it. Breast cancer is on my mom and Dad sides of family. I go in Tuesday for a mammogram and ultrasound. What's my chances of them saying its cancee

    I don't think any of us can give you a firm number. But just know that about 80% of lumps that are biopsied come back benign.

    Hoping benign results for you. I know how difficult the waiting is. Try to keep your mind busy, stay off of google. Come back.if you need to vent. The ladies here have helped me alot.

    I understand how scared you must be, I’m also waiting for tests after my dr found a lumpy area on my left breast.

    She gave me some literature saying about 8/10 people referred turn out not to have cancer but I think it’s difficult to ever have a definite number.


    I have my fingers crossed that your results are something benign. I’ve found reading posts here really helpful xx
