ShepK, so glad Loverly woke you up. Missed your postings.

Sassy, please GET A NEW COMPUTER!!!! We need your research!

Mags, the new house is a nice place to Live!

JunieB, this time start your PET diet early. Just no exercise and no carbs a few days early. Good luck on your transportation to and from the scan.

Loverly, I admit we Asians have to eat rice and noodles and veges to live! Meats are optional.

Eeyore!!! Yes, I agree. Not much of a meat eater here either. I have learned that removing rice and rice noodles is like removing “A” from Asian. Hah!

Sas, sounds like you had some communication problems?  Kindle?

I got a PET tomorrow.  Today I met my new primary.  He's my parent's primary.  I like him and he's closer to me.  He's also friends with my Onc.

I hope I get thru all the labs and stuff this week.

Thanks for the welcome!  Does everyone have their jams on?

    Pfb is good.  Nerdy

Good news.MAGS is improving .She has blood clot in the lung. But from description ,not sure if it is a pulmonary embolism or clot in chest cavity. Anyway she is stable at this moment. I told Glenda to tell her she is a tough old bird

She told Glenda, that God was not done with her yet.

She has been asking for a pulmonologist for weeks with good reasons. She finally got one last night. Keep those prayers going. Hugs

Saying prayers for Mags. Why oh why did her doc not listen to her wanting a pulmonologist? Most of us really do listen to what our bodies are saying to us.

Thank you for the update, Ms. Sas. It's not uncommon for cancer patients to have clots. You would thing they rule that out sooner. Sigh

Sas: (whispers) get an HP.....(runs away, very fast)

Medication RAR: slight flare up of the infection on my leg, so on doxycycline. I just noticed that I'm not supposed to take iron supplements, in addition to the calcium. Hmph.

(hee hee) I know, I know: you don't much care for HP computers; all I'll say is "there are duds from every manufacturer" My husband's Dell is mumbletwitch years old; I remember doing a video interview on it six years ago or thereabouts and it wasn't new then.

Infection issues to follow in a PM; I don't want to tie up the list.

Queenie cat that's the closest that this stupid kindle will let me get. Got the PM.

Regarding Magsokay it'official. She had clots blocking both lungs through the vascular system. Official name Pulmonary embolism. She has received a half dose of clot buster. She has improved.

Glenda her cousin and caretaker said her color, well being and breathing has improved greatly, since morning..

MAGS belongs to an amazing church of good folks. Their prayer network is working. Do not underestimate prayer.

Considering the survival rate is very low for this type of event. Less than low low percentages,MAGS is very right,God Is not done with her yet.

She has blessed our lives with her presence. We must do our part now. Activate your networks.

    Thanks

I have been here since 2009 ,active since 2010,the notification about a request for thoughts about a member is unusual. Thoughts about. A member like Bluebird, has never happened for the folks that I knew. Marijen has the info. on email and mailing address for husband Bruce.

This is unusual. We must follow through. Even if you don't feel like you knew Bluebird, well try to write a note or send an email.

I just 're read the top paragraph. Oh my. So many kindle corrections.

Generally, we are cut out or an after thought. Blue must have been very verbal.about our space in her life. Bluebird Diane Essa with her Danny boy was a joy to us

This is the first time in all the deaths that I have lived through, that we have been invited to speak to the family. Please take a moment to do it.

Yea a new computer should be #1 on the list!  Can't communicate without one.

My PET scan went well but I wondered why the tech had my arms crossed on top of me instead of on the sides.

Today I had a bone density thing for my primary and was not going to do a chest xray for the onc. because I felt what's the point.  But I had it.

The xray tech actually let me take a look.  Of course you know I was an RN for 25 years and know a bit how to read xrays.

I look at the xray and one lung has this big black "chunk" on my lung and I'm thinking "Oh Lord!".  I fret all the way to Lowe's for paint.  I fret all the way to Publix for my scripts.  I fret all the way home to the computer and look up pictures of lung cancer.  Then I realize what a dope I am.  Black is good!  White is not!  The black chunk was probably just an area of 02.  Not cancer.  So I'm very relieved at least I read an xray wrong.  How dumb!

    Learned my lesson.  Happy
