Hi! I'm Wendy the weimlover. I'm not new to TN but I'm now metastatic TN. I am 41 years old. This started 2 years ago, I though I was home free after bmx no node involvement. I didn't do chemo. It came back. I'm now stage IV. Spread to lymph nodes and possibly bones and possibly one spot in my brain, no organs.

Ladies TN only please who have gotten second opinions at a “BIG" center. Where did you go? In person or online? Do you recommend this center or not? Im in Mississippi. Looking at Texas California or Minnesota centers.

weimlover - I am so sorry you have to deal with this. I know that Dana Farber has a online second opinion process that is considered top notch and turn around is fast - 5-7 days after they receive your records.

I’m sure others will be here soon to help.

    Hugs.

    Hi Wendy!

I went in person for a second opinion to UCSD (San Diego) after I'd finished chemo, surgery and rads for TNBC. They recommended a second chemo round of a platin based drug, since ACT didn't work well on my tumor. I would recommend them for a second opinion.

I hope you find the answers you're looking for. Best of luck. Kelly
