if anyone can tell me if I am overreacting bc I am so scared. 5 days ago I had this stinging sensation in one spot of my right boob. The next day I started to get itchy. The day after that, little red bumps appeared in the itchy spots on my boob and areola. But i also have a couple in between my two breasts and on my rib cage. The gyno said I think didn't raise any red flags, but to use lotion & call back if It persists. Should i be more pushy or wait and see. This breast is also slightly more lumpy than my other, but the gyno couldn't feel much of a dofference

Most rashes on the breast are some type of benign skin issue, like dermatitis, psoriasis,or eczema. IBC is very rare, mostly affecting women over 60. It declares itself pretty dramatically, worsening rapidly within hours or days. Try the lotion or some hydrocortisone cream. If it gets better or looks lighter over the next few days, its not IBC. If it looks better, but is still bothersome, see a dermatologist.

I have a similar concern at the moment. I scratched the area and now have a healing bruise. I am trying cortisone cream. I have an oncology appointment on 18th so will mention it then, assuming it doesn't get worse in the meantime.

Good luck in your rash clearing soon.

yes you as well. I have serious health anxiety, and always think I have cancer. Do you have the marks on the surrounding skin as well? Good luck at your apt.
