Hi Painter137. So sorry you have had to go through so much in your life due to breast cancer. It sound like you have caught it very early so you know that is good news. I had an MRI last night and know exactly how you are feeling. However, my surgeon said he wanted it to check on my nodes and to make sure I didn't have any other spots that needed to be looked at closer with an ultrasound. I am looking at this test as a good thing since it's better to know these things now rather than missing them altogether or finding something out after or during surgery. So try not to worry too much about the results because it will all be helpful in helping determine your treatment. Hang in there and keep us posted on how you are doing.

thank you for the encouragement chikita1112! I just got my mri results no lymph node enhancement 7x8mm tumour but also a 3mm enhancement on my sternum! I'm scheduled for a pet scan on Tues and very scared! Will keep you posted! Thanks so much for your reply

Painter and Chikita,
You are in my prayers. I too got an MRI to rule out some other issues and confirm some things before surgery. Any waiting in this journey we are on is hell.

Thank you for your prayers Cindymb and Diane! I am very nervous but as they say it is what it is and I cant change it! Going for pet scan on Tues. All prayers are welcome!

Painter137, I know it's scary for you but it's so good that they found that little spot on your sternum so they can treat it! Praying you get good results from your PET scan. Try to give your worries over to Jesus and have faith that things will all work out. Sorry about my delay in replying. I have not gotten my results back yet on my MRI. Tomorrow morning we meet with the plastic surgeon for consult on reconstruction during mastectomy. I am so ready to get this surgery done and start moving on with things.
I changed my username and added my picture. My mother nicknamed me Carol Annie Lump Lump when I was a little kid. It seems so fitting now.

Carol thank you for your reply! I hope your results have no added surprises as the last few days have been filled with anxiety for me.I love your nickname and yes it is fitting isn't it,I think we could all add lump lump to our names! LolBest of luck, keep us updated ! Sending love and prayers!
