Does having a 3+cm enlarged axillary lymph node (abnormal architecture- partially replaced hilum) along with 4 other bilateral enlarged axillary lymph nodes (closer to the 1.5cm mark) make the risk that a small solid lobular breast nodule found statistically more likely to be malignant? Does anyone know? If not malignant, what could cause such but findings along with axillary pain, does anyone knows or have experience? Does anyone have links to literature about such enlarged abnormal lymph nodes?

Angel, the fact that you have other conditions as referenced in your original post could be pertinent to the lymph node question. I think any of us would just be guessing, and it could be that bilateral enlarged lymph nodes could even be from something unrelated to what they are investigating in your breast. It helps people give you more pertinent answers if they understand the entire picture, so asking your questions in the first thread you started rather than starting new threads for each might help you more. You could even copy and paste your question here over there. Hope you find out something soon.

    Melissa,

Thank you! I'm just panicking I think and I really don't have any support. Even my doctor I had to keep contacting to get the report and referrals and she was just so matter of fact. I just feel so alone and uncertain. And the pain has increased in my armpits since my mammogram & ultrasound so that has me nervous. But I get what you're saying.
