Fat transfers

I had my bilateral mastectomy on 6/7/18 with direct to implant reconstruction at the same time! I know my implants have not settled yet (as I had them prior to diagnosis and know quite a bit about them)

I do notice many area that are very uneven and know they will need fat transfers. Anybody out there have any information on how long to typically wait to do the transfer?

Iam a very active person, and as soon as Iam feeling up to it my plan is to get back in shape, so I feel fat transfers need to happen sooner then later!

    I had my bmx/right to implants on 2/13 and did fat grafting 5/15. I was restricted from just exercise for 2 weeks to not disrupt the fat while it did it’s thing. My chest didn’t really hurt, or just compared to the bmx it was a cake walk. They transferred from my stomach, that was sore for the whole 2 weeks along with bruising both there and the injection sites. As there wasn’t much to graft to it wasn’t a lot that we injected. My ps has left it up to me on if I wanted to do the transfers but that generally doing 2 is standard since the second time they can do more. I was happy with how things looked with just implants but very pleased with the results of grafting, having a little cushion over implants and more rounded appearance in the upper/inner areas.
