hi there. I was stage 1, 96% HR +, and a score of 0 on oncoyype dx. I chose bi lateral mx with anastrazole due to 30% cross- occurrence risk from excision findings, i.e., lobular in situ and dcis all on 1 side. and another tiny idc. I'm 5 years out on the daily anastrazole- symptoms I hear much less than tomox but must be post- menopausal. Life still worth it. I didn't want to worry and CT was all clear@ 5 yrs.

Becca- you can try taking Claritin/Zyrtec/Xyxal/Allegra for the itching. I had the itching and it did help. Vagisil cream or Walmart’s version called Vagicaine help relieve the itch within seconds as well. There’s nothing in them that treats a yeast infection...so no worries there. It’s actually benzocaine and skin moisturizers. Note:the target brand of vagicaine did not rub into the skin well, so I don’t recommend that one. Good luck!🍀

Lula73 - Thanks so much again for the advice. It is super helpful. I will try the Zyrtec. Was trying to figure out why my skin was itching in just a few distinct places, such as the top of my left foot. These drugs are full of weird SEs. My doctor said about 20% of women have side effects and mentioned hot flashes, blood clots and uterine cancer, nothing else.
