Ibrance no longer working

I have an appt this Fri with my oncologist. They have the results of PET & CATscans. I was told to stop taking Ibrance last week. I've had a very good year on 125mg for which I'm grateful. Over the phone the doc only told me there is another oral form of medication.

Since the bone mets diagnosis May 2017 in addition to Ibrance I'm getting Faslodex and Xgeva injections.

In not sure what is next. In scared.

    I’m sorry you are scared. I failed Ibrance too and also am bone only mets right now. Your doctor is probably talking about Xeloda for your next treatment that is a pill. It is an oral chemo and does not cause hair loss. You won’t need Faslodex anymore but will continue with the Xgeva. I found Xeloda pretty tolerable

    Hi Larkin, thank you for your reply. Doc put me on Afinitor and Aromasin, with Xgeva continuing. So I'll do some research on that combo. My guess was also Xoleda. I'm sorry that med has been terrible for you.
