Two questions:
1. During my breast ultrasound today the tech used a manual measuring device (ruler like tool) when taking several of the pictures. She measured from my nipple. What is this and why is it used?
2. What does the blue mean on a breast ultrasound? I'm assuming blood flow.

Sometimes a clock is used to describe location... such as "a mass at 2 o'clock". So it is relative to the nipple.
