Lots of medical issues this year starting with gallstones. During that emergency visit they also found a mass on liver. After gallbladder surgery and more imaging the mass is actually in my adrenal gland. Urine/blood tests show no hormone changes from tumor but doc rec's removal. Then my lymph nodes on R armpit swelled up. Scheduled diagnostic mammogram, had regular breast exam with nothing found in my dense breast tissue. Mammo shows nothing so the doc recommends biopsy of lymph nodes. Night before biopsy I found a large lump in my breast. So the biopsied both areas and found cancer in both, diagnosed June 21. SCCA immediately got me in the next day with oncologist and many other appointments. Stage III triple negative, have appt for PET scan, had breast mRI, getting ECHo and will start AC chemo likely july 2. It's been really fast so far and I'm glad to not have to wait. Still reeling from the whole thing. Still don't know if my adrenal gland mass is cancer as that surgery is now delayed. Unsure if I will need mastectomy at this point but I'm guessing i will

Sorry you are here, but we support you. In March this is how I felt and started just before my 47th Birthday. Until u get all the testing completed it hard to find to grasp everything. Dont let ur mind go off to unknown directions live for the day and everything will be answered . You do what feels right in your gut.

I remember waiting for the er/pr and her2..everything a waiting game. biopsy, results, then the port, then chemo first..then one day, it's here and you move on to the next step. Not sure if you posted in the IDC thread yet or Chemo starts in July. but we are here.

Btw: regarding surgery i havent had mine yet or know my options til i find the right team. Than I will cross that bridge too..

Hugs. With support from all of us...
