I'll have to let you know. My foot is still in the walking cast and nwb. I'll let you know when I know something.
-
kira - I was just thinking about you and wondering how you are. Just let me know - and it's no problem even up to the last minute. Glad you are at least able to ambulate!
-
I'm good for June 9th at the Grillsmith. I even know how to get down there!!
Looking forward to seeing you all again.

I hope to be able to join you ladies, I look forward to meeting everyone if so:)
-
Yay snickersmom and twills
-
Sure feel for you, Kira! The fracture boot was enough and boy was I thrilled to be done with it. All the best to you for a short recovery on that one.

Hi,
I had breakfast with Phyllis this week and she told me about the date so I am checking in. Is Wiregrass a great shopping place??? Seems I heard about it once... may be a different place...? Anyway, I have to wait until the 8th to know if I can come as I am trying to sell my house and it seems that I get calls on Friday for people to see on Saturday. So, for me it will be last minute although I would like to come.
So.....maybe! I will check with Phyllis too.
Lynn
-
mysunshine - we would love to see you and Phyllis - last minute is fine, no worries! Wiregrass is a shopping center set up as an open air shopping/dining arrangement, with smaller versions of Macy's, Dillard's and Penney's along with lots of other shops and restaurants. It is on the same street (State Road 56) as the new Prime Outlets in Wesley Chapel - they are about 3.5 miles apart. I-75 runs across SR-56 between the two centers, and the restaurant is easy to find and there is a fair amount of parking.
-
Lynn - I am planning on driving down to the get-together, so if you and Phyllis decide to go, let me know and I will pick you both up. Do you still have my number
Ann
-
I have two conflicts on Saturday but may see what happens with Lynn and maybe sneak down with her. Ann, we really won't know until the absolute last minute, and if she has house issues we could even be late leaving from here. Will let you know.
-
Last minute would be okay. I have a conflict as well but I think I will be able to go. Just text me tomorrow or Saturday and let me know. I'm happy to drive the 3 of us.
Ann
-
I am not going to be coming down for the get-together tomorrow. The husband of a very close friend passed away suddenly yesterday and I need to be here with her.
Next time, I hope!

snickers - oh no, I’m so sorry about your friend, always a shock. I’m so glad she has you to be there with her, and no worries, we will see you next time. Take care
-
How many do we have "for sure" for tomorrow? I'm still in. How many Yes and how many Maybe? I lost track. ;-) I look forward to seeing how ever many can get there and hope to see others on our next "date." Blessings to those having medical and other conflicts going on.
-
Looks like 5 for sure and 2 maybe. I’m sorry we won’t have more due to unforeseen issues, but there will be a next time for sure!
I am looking forward to seeing everyone who can come tomorrow. If anyone needs my cell number just send me a PM, or more info on the location
-
I'm still in as well. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
-
I’ll be there, 15 mins late though:
-
Enjoy!
-
Nice lunch with our small group, and nice to meet TWills - yay! Missed all who could not attend.Looking forward to the next time - maybe August
-
So happy it went well and that all enjoyed it.
-
Sorry couldn't be there. Had conflicts kept me busy 8:30am until after 10pm. One day will make it.
-
patoo - dang girl, you're busy! No worries, just check this thread for upcoming lunches and come when you have a quiet moment, lol!
-
I am going for my Moffitt one year check and mammogram next week. I thought I was cool about it all, but last night I had a bad dream that all the calcification was now cancer. Ugh. I will have to visit the baby rhino at Busch when it's over. Which reminds me...
-
mexicoheather - love the meme, lol! Are you going to the USF location - convenient to the baby rhino?
-
Yes. I'll be over at the McKinley campus. Baby rhino is so cute.🦏
-
That is such a nice building - I did my lymphatic bypass surgery workup there and some LE PT. Sending you a PM.
-
Hello, sisters.
I am a Moffitt alumni also. Sep 28th is my next visit which i dont see any issue other than minor anxiety.
P.S. I am inviting myself for the next get together.
-
We welcome you! Not sure when our next get together will be but we will be happy to see you! Watch this thread header for details
-
I'm afraid the timing of the next time won't hit right for me. At the end of August, I'm moving for an indefinite period of time to Oregon. A family matter has arisen and one of my Sisters that has done far more than merely help me during my Son's life needs help now. Since I'm the only other one that's single, off I go.
Even if I find a new group out there, it will NEVER be the same as this group. Some of you have been with me from almost Day One of the BC journey.
(((((((((((((((all of you))))))))))))
-
galsal - maybe we can sneak in a lunch before you go, and what an awesome thing you’re doing for your sister - the true meaning of family. Even if you’re absent for a while you are always part of our group, you know that right
