edited June 2018 in Not Diagnosed But Worried

I am 32 years old and I have this right nipple white discharge in a single duct. (only when I squeeze it out)

It's been a year with the same problem !!!

I've seen obgyn specialist for this and he did not seem to care too much about it

but I insisted to get 3D ultrasound and it came out normal. I did not do the mammo because the radiologist I met told me

I am not meeting the age requirement yet. I met another physician and he did the pituitary hormone blood test, it came out normal too. I am not taking any medication either

I tried not to squeeze, maybe once in a month or two just to see if I still have the discharge and I did...

then I saw it had this tiny scab on top of the single duct, and when I squeezed it out. I saw blood discharge

I am scared to death now... please help me. I am worried sick to my stomach. I don't know what to do..

we are not doctors, obviously so we can’t diagnose you. There are multiple things this could be including small abcess, pimple, small cyst, blocked duct, etc. white discharge is a vague description. Can you give more details? Thick, thin, opaque, watery, translucent, does it have a smell or is it odorless, how quickly does it refill after squeezing?

Hi. Thank you so much for your reply and I'm very sorry about my vague description. I freaked out when I saw the bloody discharge yesterday. The color of the discharge is thick, It refills up almost everyday when I squeeze it. I didn't squeeze my nipple for months to see if it will go away but it always was there when I squeeze it. I don't think it smells and after the white discharge,I get this watery clear discharge too.

As there is now bloody discharge, this is a significant change & you should see your doctor to report this change in your symptoms.

Odds are still that this is a benign condition so try to not let your mind wander to bad places. You just need to get this diagnosed properly.

I would probably want the discharge to be cultured and a mammogram done.

Your endocrinology workup should have included prolactin and TSH so check your lab reports & see if they did both.

This is a good summary of how a professional should approach the symptoms:

You could see if your city has any breast health specialists. There are physicians and clinics that specialize only in breast conditions, for both lactating and non lactating women and deal with many issues, not just oncological ones.

    best wishes
