News: Silibinin treatment for brain metastasis / metastases

Hello everyone. I wanted to pass along this news which just came out this week (June 11, 2018). Silibinin is found in milk thistle. Even though this is a small study, a 20% complete response and 55% overall response rate (in HUMANS) is pretty significant I think - especially given the fact that there aren't that many treatment options for brain metastatis / metastases.

Please do your own additional research (allergies and interactions with other drugs), but I think this headline should be getting a lot more attention and wanted to make sure people knew about it.

Through my wife's naturopathic oncologist, she is now starting a regiment of both milk thistle and pure silibinin (2 separate bottles) - in addition to her current other supplements, treatment, etc...
