Implants and lymphoma

Hi everyone....one of my expanders is leaking so the doc has bumped up my exchange surgery to the 18th! That will be 2 months from my mastectomy. Has anyone else had their exchange surgery so soon? Also ...he dropped a bomb on me saying that the textured implants they use can cause lymphomA (Something called BIA ALCL). Im already so nervous about this final surgery and now here delirious with the flu trying to research this new discovery. Who has textured implants? The surgeon said they use textured because the smooth ones shift and they help prevent capsular contraction. Has anyone had any experience with any of this?????

    New studies are showing that textured implants are associated with a certain type of lymphoma so many Drs are now only using smooth implants. They seem to be ok!
