Fat grafting is painful in the areas they lipo for the fat. You may also have some rather large bruising in those areas and perhaps some minor bruising on your breasts where they go in to do the graft.

kae, sorry I didn't see your comments. Unfortunately I can't add much more info as my surgeon stopped participating w/my insurance so now I am left to find another. It is not easy finding a PS that will do high volume fg in reconstruction in my area. I would think that you may be able to go a little narrower in width but not sure. I went wider in width with my 1st revision. I believe when you go narrower the projection goes fuller, but I would check with Whippetmom.

Sorry you are having neck pain. Are your implants pre-pec? Mine are. They are 470 and very heavy. Hopefully we can find solutions!!

So you were small to begin with and he put these big 415s in you? Did you *want* to be bigger? My 1st PS made me bigger than I wanted, also a male. If he is willing to downsize and that is what you want that is wonderful! My 1st ps balked at the idea of going smaller so I left.

So is he onboard to downsize for you? To answer your previous ?s I don't think the small amts of fat that is grafted adds weight, it just cushions the edges of the implants, helps to plump up the skin that is so thin. It also created warmth which is one of my biggest pet peeves. I hate the cold clammy feel of implants. Sometimes you may need or want more than one round of fg as often 30-40% of what is grafted is absorbed by the body. I have read the subsequent rounds of fg tend to do better than the initial graft. Even women with BMI of 19 have enough fat for these purposes. I was not nip sparing.
