I am 56 years old and found a small lump under my right breast and within 3 weeks this tender lump took over my breast it is swollen kind of red and itchy nipple i am worried about breast cancer i had a lumpectomy about 7 years ago in my left breast but nothing since then, there is breast cancer and different type of cancer history in my family

The info I am finding suggests cysts but I have been in menopause since I was 50 so not sure

Anyone going through the same thing?

    We are sorry that you find yourself with these breast changes. Most of our members would probably say that any change in your breast is worth bringing to your doctor's attention. Breast changes do not necessarily mean cancer but they are always worth a professional's attention. Keep us posted on what you learn. The Mods

    well not much happened since 2 weeks ago with trying to get an ultrasound or even a mammogram i finally saw my Dr 2 days ago that tried to drain my breast but only was able to get about 1cm of mostly blood the pain has spread to arm pit my back and my rib cage and now i feel sick to my stomach like a nauseas feeling all day headache and no energy

    My breast keeps on growing and his very itchy on the nipple the lump is hard and is now covering my whole breast and spreading to my arm pit it is swollen and hard this lump has grown from a pea size to this in 1 month and is not stopping

    Im upset cause im still waiting to get things going, my Dr said its Fybrocystic and will most likely will have to get surgery to remove it but they dont seem to b in a hurry
