37 year old female extremely worried
For the past 2 months I have been having pain in my left breast & I have a visible lump under my left arm pit that has been there for several months that is hard. Well here lately I have been having like a hot sensation to my left breast that comes & goes & it is also warm to the touch. All I do is stay inside my air conditioned apartment. I don't excersize or do any strenuos lifting or anything. The only time I go outside is to go pay bills or go to the grocery store. I haven't had any injuries to my left breast. My left breast is much bigger than my right breast. I have noticed a red scar under my left breast that isn't healing. It has also been there for several months. I have also noticed that I have a red pimple looking mark on the middle right side of my left breast, but its not raised. I have also noticed some skin changes to the top of my left breast & it almost looks like a start of early pitting & its like a reddish, pinkish color. I have also noticed, under my left breast there is some pinkish color. I don't have any pain in my right breast. But what's weird is, my right breast is so small compared to my left breast. I have also noticed when I breath in, I get this weird feeling on the top left side of my left breast & it feels like a bump on the inside of left breast if that makes sense. I haven't breast fed in over 10 years. Every month when I get my period, both of my breasts are sore. But then after my period is over, my right breast isn't sore anymore but my left breast still continues to be painful, even weeks after my period. I have also noticed my left nipple is red & sore also. Then yesterday morning I noticed, my left lymph node under my neck is raised compared to my right side. I called my OB & I have an appointment for Thursday. Im Really worried & I don't know what's going on! I know nobody can diagnose me. I would just like to know what's going on.

Dear 37yroldfemale,
Welcome to the community. We are so sorry that these breast changes and the subsequent worry have brought you here but glad that you reached out. There could be many reasons for these changes besides cancer. Most of our members will say not to jump to the worst conclusion. You are taking the proper steps to get a diagnosis and an answer. Please keep us posted about your appointment on Thursday. We are here for you. The MOds

I'm sorry you're going through this. There's nothing quite like finding a lump in your breast to scare the starch out of us. You're on the right track having your GYN check this out. Breasts can have all sorts of wonky lumps, redness, and dimples. Your age is in your favor, so there's that. Most lumps turn out NOT to be cancer.
Hang in there. Let us know how it goes.

Update: Saturday I took a shower & I noticed I was having a whitish, clearish discharge from my left nipple. Then I started having some white, Thick discharge coming out of the top aureola above the nipple. Also the Pain in my Left Breast has intensified! Plus the hottness in my left breast is constant now. Plus the lymph node under my left armpit is painful! The top part of my left arm is swelling. Plus the lymph node under my neck on the left side is swollen. Plus last night I was having pain in the crease of my armpit. So I called my OB today & they moved my appointment up to Wednesday at 11:15am. The OB nurse said she would give my GYN the information I gave her & if my GYN wants to do anything sooner, her OB nurse will call me. Has anybody else gone through these same symptoms? How did things turn out for you? This not knowing is driving me batty!! 😢😢

37yrold,
I am sorry to hear all these things happening to you. I think you should start a new thread with your Qs in detail. Your thread is so broad the right people will not read it. Write about the discharge and pain on your topic and someone who recognizes it will respond. Good luck

She doesn't need to start another thread-this already is her own thread and both of her posts are greatly detailed, so having to backtrack to read other threads would just confuse the matter. She seems to have a multitude of things going on, so only her doctor is going to be able to sort this out. We would just be guessing. The good news is, she has a doctor appointment tomorrow

Glad to hear you got the appointment bumped up. Hopefully it turns out to be an infection of some type or another benign finding. With so many different symptoms with it, only advice I'd give is if you don't feel comfortable with the answer he/she gives you, keep pushing until you are satisfied.
