I’ve been having breast pain now for over three months in only one breast. The right one. I have visited the doctor twice and he gave me the pill to take each month and I went for a radiography and there was no cyst . The pain is getting worse . It affects my work , as I’m a chef and I’ve been crying every day . It’s a sharp stabbing pain and I am certain it’s not my hormones , however my breasts are normally a little tender throughout the months but this feels like something else . The tissue is grainy and knotty and I can’t find a lump but it’s very firm there and almost feels inflamed ? I am desperate now. I can’t sleep on that side . And in the morning it’s the worst . Please if someone could just try to help me ? I’m 22 and I feel lost

I'm sorry you can't get some relief. It sounds pretty miserable. At your age your chances of this being breast cancer are extremely small , less than 0.1%. There are many benign conditions that affect young breasts, but it's not normal for it to hurt constantly. Since you've seen a doctor, but haven't gotten any relief and you really don't know what's causing your pain, I'd suggest you get a second opinion. See if you can get a copy of the original imaging, in addition to the report. Get a referral to a breast specialist and take the imaging and report with you.

I am not suspicious at all that this is breast cancer, but you need some answers. Let us know how it goes.
