Diagnosed this evening
Hi all
Biopsy of lump has come back positive as breast and lymph node biopsy also positive this evening
Relieved in a way to know but now frightened of the road ahead
I don’t want to know what stage I am...is that weird? I don’t think I’d cope yet with that information...I don’t even want to see the breast clinic I just want to sit and cry

Aussie, so sorry to hear your news. Have a good cry, you need the release. You are going to be very busy over the next few months with tests and appointments so take a deep breath and know there is lots of support and information on this site to help you along the way. There is even a forum called Australian sisters that you might like to look at.
Hugs and love

Oh I’m so sorry to hear of your diagnosis. You are in the hardest part! It makes perfect sense why you don’t want any more info—and need a good cry. It’s completely overwhelming in the beginning.
There are definitely some dark days to this thing but you walk through them and on the other side are surprising blessings and joys. (I’m freshly done with chemo and bilateral mastectomy and about to begin hormone therapy.)
The firehose of information is intense but I learned to take one appointment at a time, one new fact at a time, one phase of treatment at a time, and not try to figure out everything allat once.
Praying for you this morning—for peace and a good med team and loving friends to walk with you through this.

I would advise you to start taking lots of Ginger which you boil and drink the juice, also 2,000 mgs of Vitamin C daily.
I had a lumpectomy four and a half years ago, and thanks to God I am still well. I refused all treatment and only follow the holistic route.

my mom has just recently been diagnosed with breast cancer stage 1 and her+ And it hasn’t gone to the nodes as far as they can tell from her ultrasound and mammogram. I’m probably struggling more than her but I know I have to try stay positive but I am so worried for her and eveshe is about to go through
