Armpit lump?

So I'm 35 and have had a armpit lump for over a month or so. I initially set up an appointment with my primary or rather someone who was covering for her. I actually set it up thinking it was an abscess because there was like a pinching pain sometimes. But a day before the appointment I noticed it seemed to be gone and there was no pain. So days later I feel something again it's little different in the same spot kind of almost feels like 2 connected together. It's soft in middle but hard around the edges. I do have a follow up with my doctor scheduled next Tuesday. I also wanted to add the few months I've had a lot of different symptoms my doc has been watching. Also some of my bloodwork has been consistently elevated like my proteins, sed, crp and liver enzymes. So now I'm a bit scared and I almost want to call and beg for an earlier appointment even though it's only 6 days from now.
