checked my brain, went in Botox for migraines. Works like magic...and gets rid of forehead wrinkles too. It is very expensive without insurance but around 300 with, but I meet my deductible and out of pocket each first treatment of H and P. Good luck

NoteRed I had them. Very bad. Went to the eye doctor in a panic. When chemo ended they went away completely. Hugs!

beatmom, I ve checked my brain several times since 2010 i had my first one. Last time was before my surgery last February- so thats why my onc didn't suggest a ct scan. Although I will do one with other tests when I finish chemo. The botox maybe a solution but is it for ocular migraines too?

tresjoli2 thank you you give me hope- I was full of anxiety since they started again... (last time was in 2015

I have had ocular migraines for years - four or five times a year. I've had two of my 12 weekly Taxol/Herceptin treatments and each time, got an ocular migraine 3-4 days after. At least they are something I am used to dealing with, so they don't freak me out (I am much more disturbed by the stuff that I' not used to, like the nosebleeds that started this weekend!). I can see where they would be really disturbing if you had never had one before!
