Husband's in the Hospital Again !

Hi ladies, fortunately my husband is doing better now. He's tracking his blood sugar for his diabetes and trying to eat healthier. He has a disability placard, so he doesn't need to walk quite as far at work. Some idiot at work gave him a hard time about the disability parking, but he is certainly entitled to it with his heart and breathing problems. Some people!

I had a great time on my trip but I wasn't as lucky at the casino as I was during the Laughlin, NV trip. Lake Tahoe was so beautiful. It was warmer than Chicago at 51 degrees and had no snow, so the skiers were disappointed.

I nearly didn't get to go. My son was driving me to my friend's when her husband called and said he'd be off work (from construction) for three weeks and now he could go on the trip. My friend reminded him that he had turned down the trip and it was too late to change his mind now. Whew! Otherwise I would have been stuck in Chicago, IL.
