Exchange on Friday, back to work Monday - doable?

My surgery is scheduled for Friday morning, I'm switching out my TE for an implant and going home later that afternoon. I have an office job and spend most of time at work sitting at my desk. Will I be able to work or should I take Monday off? I'm saving up my PTOs for vacation, would hate to use them up!
