So good to see you cookie!

This year at school has been super challenging for me as well. We just lost my mother in law 2 weeks ago so that has added to the stress. Looking forward to summer!

    Hang in there.

Hey Ginger, Blessings, Moonflwr and CookieMonster! So glad to see that you are well and good. Cookie monster - you were the one that started our group and I don't think I've seen you here for a long time. So glad to hear you are doing well!

I think I struggle with whether to drop the blocker or not just because it is powerful stuff. I never struggled like some, but I can't say my hands don't feel it or the slight hair loss on top. I'm curious if any of you that did quit, did you have hair loss and did it come back after quitting? My MO thinks it will, but I also wonder if she's not just trying to give me hope LOL.

So nice to hear from you all. I hope I didn't miss anyone?

OMG Ginger - parallel lives - my father-in-law passed February 8. It's been tough. Especially on top of the difficult school year. Hang in there - we're almost done.

I had brain fog from tamox and I think it improved. But I don't know about hair loss, I don't think I had much if any.

Sending you a virtual hug, cookie. Tough time for sure. 5 weeks of school left for me. How about you?

Quinn- I think the hair around my temples that had really thinned out is beginning to fill in. My fingers are getting stuck less but my hand strength hasn’t returned yet. Still hoping though.

    Thanks Ginger,

I'm actually much closer. I have this week with the students, then I leave on Tuesday to go grade AP exams. I return on June 9 after they've finished final exams. We have a week of in-service though, and then I leave on the 15th to help chaperone a trip to China (second year), which is so much fun but also some work. All in all the end is very near for which I'm so so grateful. Busy summer working, but different work so it's OK. And we hit our 20th wedding anniversary in late June too. Busy times. Take care.

Ginger - the finger thingy, yes. Thanks for reminding me! I've been on a course of prednisone for an ear issue (which is actually scaring me more than breast cancer!) and I notice my trigger fingers are gone. Fancy that. Now I wonder if my ear has had enough of the hormone blocker too (or something else that could be causing inflammation).

I think school teachers have one of the roughest jobs out there and especially these days. Where I can see where it could be a rewarding profession to, the fact that you have to always "be on" would be difficult for me, let alone all of the issues of today. No dial it in days. Thank you for your service Ginger and CookieMonster.
