Just got the radiologists report. Do u think I can trust a "probably benign" and wait the 6 months given the fact my sister had BC?

Finding 1: Anterior depth 9:00 4 cm from the nipple is a small grouping of homogeneous rounded calcifications that have been noted on multiple prior exams. These are difficult to visualize due to small size and dense tissue but are felt to probably be
benign.

Finding 2: Mid depth 10:00 5 cm from the nipple is a grouping of 3 punctate dense calcifications. These are not seen on previous but are felt to probably be benign.

Recommend 6 month follow-up

Since they "have been noted on multiple prior exams" I would wait. They would have mentioned a change had there been any.

Hard to wait but unnecessary testing is not good.

I have an area that is new. My gyno just called and said she wants me to see a breast specialist anyways given my family history. So I will see what he says 😀

I’m glad you are seeing a Breast Specialist. Why not? You have a positive family history. If they both say wait 6 months you can do so without extra anxiety. Good luck
