arm muscle (bicep) pain

I have a pain in my arm muscle (bicep) especially when I stretch. It started after completing the 6 months of chemo (AC + T). The lymph nodes were removed from the armpit and my arm mobility was limited after the surgery 8 months ago but it was fully recovered in a few months, therefore I was able to move my arm fully without any problem during the chemo. Now I cannot move my arm well so it's like getting back the post-surgery condition. The arm is not swelled so it doesn't seem to be lymphedema. Not sure if it is a chemo side effect, but it never happened during the chemo. Has anyone had a same or similar experience?

sumomo, sorry you are experiencing this! You may want to read about Myalgia and discuss with your treatment team.

Maybe it is worth meeting with, and talking to your medical oncologist since you feel it connected to the chemotherapy. There are many different things that could be leading to your discomfort.

Hang in there, and get an appointment

Are you taking Tamoxifen or an AI? These can be another source of muscle/joint problems. You might also have mild LE, or some cording. Can you get an evaluation from a LANA-certified nurse or PT?

Thanks for your comments, everyone. My oncologist said it's normal to have lots of weird symptoms after chemo. So I hope it's one of the chemo side effects as my oncologist thinks. Meanwhile, I will try to get some other helps as I'm still concerned about lymphedema. Anyway, thank you all.
