Is Radiation Needed - Please see my stats and concerns

Hi,

I am stage 1 IDC with 1.3cm tumor, grade 3, LVI present, onco score of 23 had a BMX. They had to go back in for clear margins. Both sentinel nodes were clear. Having chemo for onco score of 23 and being grade 3. My RO is saying that I am in a grey area and not really recommending radiation. What I read on the boards is because of the high risk factors of being grade 3, LVI present, and sort of young 49 (when diagnosed), I should do radiation. I also should mention that my PET scan prior to surgery showed an enlarged lymph node. Please give me your knowledge and experience if similar. Thank you

    What does your medical oncologist say? Maybe you should get a second opinion. My personal opinion is that anybody in a 'grey area' should do the treatment that is being considered.
