Bloody nipple discharge

Hi. I’m 31 years old and for a few months I’ve have clear nippier discharge from both breasts. Usually would stain my nightgown. Worse on the right. But for the last couple of months, the left breast discharge has turned bloody in one duct and only comes out if I squeeze it.

I finally went in to see my physician, he could not feel any lumps. Did some blood tests and my prolactin came back high (32). He also ordered a mammogram (which I did yesterday with a BIRAD of 1:negative) and an ultrasound (also done yesterday which they found several cysts but one area on the left breast with what the radiologist says is a small mass that goes up into the duct and up the nipple. He thinks it might be a papilloma, but he still wants me to do an MRI.

I already have a brain MRI scheduled for May 2nd to look for pituitary adenomas because of my high prolactin. Hoping they can schedule the breast MRI for the same visit.

I’m trying not to freak out but I haven’t been able to sleep much. I haven’t told anyone about it, not even my family because I don’t want to worry them unless I absolutely have to. I’m not sure what I’m going to do until Amat 2nd. Even worse is that I have a high deductible insurance plan so all of these is coming out of my pocket.

Anyone had similar experience that turned out to be completely benign
