I’m 35 and I found a small lump near my nipple about 2 months ago. I stopped nursing my second baby 6 months ago. The lump is about the size of a bean. It seems to move but I’m not sure. I let myusband feel it 2 months ago to make sure I wasn’t crazy. But I never called to have it checked because I i was still dealing with sleep deprivation and just forgot. Now I have an appointment next week. Could this be related to breastfeeding? I also have implants (saline). Could it be related to that? No breast cancer in my immediate family but my Aunt has had it twice. What do you think?

My lump was just behind the nipple. I had bleeding as well. At the time, my youngest was two and breastfed. Please don't hesitate to get it checked. Hoping for benign results.

It is very typical to have changes around childbirth/breast feeding, however, as Falconer states, it's always a good idea to get it looked at by a medical professional.

Hang in there, and please let us know!

I'm glad that you're getting it checked out. It could be related to breastfeeding or one of the various benign conditions. The waiting game is not fun! Keeping you my thoughts! Let us know how it goes.
