28 with undefined underarmlump...worried!
I went to the doctor last week after a lump I had under my right arm for about 6 weeks had gotten a second lump above it.... so I thought. The Dr did a breast exam and noticed a few nodules in right breast as well so sent me for Us of the under arm and diagnostic mammogram and did some labs. I'm still waiting on the mammogram but during the US the radiologist was brought in to take a look and told me he could not make a determination that it was defiantly solid but unsure if it was a lymph node or what because it was misshapen. So he talked to himself and said a needle biopsy then said no it's close to the surface so let's just have it removed.... waiting to here back from my doctor but I'm wondering if that's the right thing to do a needle biopsy sounds much easier to me? Also my labs came back and the nurse said my liver levels where high it was supposed to be 6.29 and mine was 40....she said she would consult the doc and get back with me.... anybody with similar experience or advice to offer would be very appreciative I fell like everything and nothing has been thrown at me at once and I just don't know what's going on or what to think.

No real advice, just wanted to say you are doing the right thing getting the biopsy. Good luck to you.

So the Axilla Sonogram report reads: palpable abnormalality corresponds to hypoechoic vascularized mass. This finding is nonspecific. this would be a somewhat unusual appearance for a lyphnode, but could be reflective of perhaps an atypical lymph node. it would also be somewhat unusual for a dermal structure. Ultimately definitive diagnosis can only be made by surgical excision and/or biopsy.
Just below the skin surface and confirmed as the area of palpable abnormality is a somewhat elongated lobulated hypoechoic area. there is somewhat linear projection of asymmetric diminished echogenicity from this region. in aggregate this measures 11 x 5 x 13 mm no shadowing there is rather significant internal vascularity present.
The mammogram seemed pretty good...
Scattered fibroglandular densities demonstrated throughout both breast. No Stella mass lesion or malignant appearing microcalcacifications at base line assessment. Axilla appearing unremarkable.
Anyways it also says they couldn't see the area under my arm so they did they us and that's all they sent I don't really under stand it waiting to hear back from the doctor hopfuly soon for the next step. Waiting and not know is the hardest part I've tried looking up what it could be and I know I shouldn't but the only thing that pops up is BC and it scares me! I had a genetic screening done about 5 years ago because a history of cervical cancer and they doctor said it would be very unlikely for me to get it so why are we going through all this is it still possible if you don't have the genetic markers? Also thought I might add I havnt had any pain or discomfort with the lump the only reason I brought it up is because I though the was anouter one next to it turned out it had double in size! Sorry if I'm going on and on just try to get some insight while I wait.
