Continued prayer requested, please
Hello all of you fine people....checking in with the latest...Still dealing with the insurance issues...Medicare...private insurance and all that headache...on the medical front...haven't started Xeloda as of yet but it is still waiting in the wings I believe. Got off the chemo track with this breathing difficulty...was sent to an ENT guy and he is treating my newly found nasal polyps with Prednisone and Flonase so I can breathe nasally; sent to a cardiologist to try to determine if there is heart diease from 1999 chemo or from 2006 chemo or from family history (only male side that I know of). Had an echocardiogram; a 30 day monitor (which I took off after 24 hours as I didn't like the total focus on my heart rate...too distracting from living); will be having a Myoview Test (treadmill stress with dye injections) on Tuesday/Wednesday. Something has shown up on my EKGs but "not too drastic". I do not have any followup appointments until 2/6 and 2/9 so that will be the difficult part of this....the waiting and anxiety. Oncologist will not start any further treatment until I get the all clear from the other docs. The tumor markers were going down when I got sick but the Taxol kicked my butt too much...the funniest part of this whole mess is that I was treated for upper left lobe pneumonia in the hospital and I didn't have it....it is my heart!!! Hmmmmmm wonder if they see Jesus in there??? Anyway, taking the antibiotics may have cleared up any little bugs that were hanging around in there LOL Ya just gotta keep laughing...sometimes harder to do that than crying....but in my belief...God is the only one who washes windows (to the soul) from the inside...so crying is fine too...makes your eyes sparkle after a spring rain :-) Thank you to all of you, my fellow journeyers.

Jan,
You have been in my thoughts and prayers. I, like so many here, have heavy hearts that you are faced with lots of problems/health issues. Your faith has touched my heart.
Asking our Lord to walk with you, comfort and sustain you
in the coming days.
Gentle hugs, Brenda -
